Tale of gamers update

Apologies for the lack of posts been having a visit from papa nurgle.

I have started on my 1st months models and have put down the red base highlighs and wash for the armour and have started the black

The three complete marines are my death company and the part built is my reclusiarch. His arm sits across his body so painting before attaching seemed sensible.

Tale of X Gamers (Sluggaz Style)

Tomorrow sees the start of the Southampton Sluggaz Tale of Gamers and after some deliberation i will be participating with a fallen blood angels force.

I need to come up with a HQ & Troop choice (total 300 points) for my theme which is going to be heavy Death Company as they are clearly unknowing Khorne followers

So the start is a Reclusiarch (super Chaplain) as my HQ and a Death Company Troop choice.

Reclusiarchs are pretty cool with Crozius and rosarius making them crunchy enough to lead a force all it needed was a jet pack

The Troop choice is more of a challenge Death Company start at 3 models with jump packs i am almost at the points already.  so add a couple of special weapons to make the members unique i am there

plus side to this is 4 models to build and paint in a month which means hopefully i can do something nice with them. negative side is at the end of May i will be fielding 4 models versus a few horde forces.

I need a name so suggestions are welcome.

New Project part 2 Update

I am still working on the project its just slow going but thanks to a friend getting me some cool Spellcrow Pirate orc heads its getting pushed full throttle.

The Detail on these heads is amazing and though it has minimal flash and mold lines they do not cut through any detail and i have yet to find any bubbles

So with heads sorted i needed more Cybork parts so i went Crazy with Kromlech via the Troll Trader

And because they look amazing i also ordered a few Mega nobz

I am so Excited to do this project just need to finalise the list to build from there

Warzone Resurrection!

Prodos games have a kickstarter on-going for this game which is a rerelease of the 1990’s Mutant Chronicles Warzone. Whilst I never played the game I did own some of the books for this and the RPG which will also be getting a rerelease.

Mutant chronicles is set in a future world where corporations have taken over and control various planets the factions are


Megacorporations

Capitol – (Just unlocked in the Kickstarter)

Bahaus – (original target for the Kickstarter)

Cybertronic – Heavy Cybernetic corporation

Mishima – (not released yet)

Imperial – (not released yet)

Brotherhood – underlying religious group tying the corps together

Dark Legion – Faction trying to wipe out the others.

So far five of the factions are ready for release and the kits will be plastic for the troops.

I am a huge fan of the Brotherhood but also like the models in the Bahaus & Cybertronic range.

I am supporting this and hope you do too as there is plenty of time left for them to smash future goals.

More updates

So I visited a games club last weekend and it was a cool experience, everyone was welcoming and though I played more dreadball than anything else I did get to try flames of war.

My stug g's blasted my opponents churchill's and was good fun.





Did bring up the whole fiction vs historical debate but time will tell.

Also had my deep wars delivered and they are some lovely models.

Current dreadball w/l ratio is 1-3 so at least have now won a game.

I have played a couple games and have painted one of the two teams

So far I am 0-2 which I hope improves.

On the 40k front I am working on the Sons of Prospero and have one unit almost done with another part done.
